On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2010, Ma Jifen, Secretary of CPC General Branch and Deputy Director of Chen Yun Memorial, headed for the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong to exchange ideas about publicity and education. During the visit, the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong and Chen Yun Memorial agreed to exchange docents from March to May in a bid to strengthen their ties, fuel the shared development and interactions and share mutual advantages.

In the morning of March 12, the Publicity and Education Department of Chen Yun Memorial welcomed two docents from the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Under the guidance of leaders of Chen Yun Memorial, the department heads mapped out a detailed teaching plan according to the two docents' job responsibilities and the actual situation of the Department. To learn from each other through exchanges, the Department requested the two docents to make comments and suggestions for those issues found during exchanges. At present, the two docents spare no effort to study and work in an active and passionate way.

On the other hand, Chen Yun Memorial also sent two teams of docents to the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, and every team consisting of two members would stay there for a month. They were sent to learn from the excellent work style and the way of narration at the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. It had been the largest-scale exchanges, with four docents sent to study for two months in total. It not only tests the staff of the Department, but also indicates that the leaders of Chen Yun Memorial attach great importance to the exchanges. In the days ahead, Chen Yun Memorial will play an active part in more exchanges to improve our docents’ all-round competence.
