In order to implement the Opinions on the Implementation of “Learning from Lei Feng” Volunteer Service in Public Cultural Facilities issued by seven institutions including the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the General Office of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress and the Ministry of Culture, the Seminar would invite Shanghai Association of Volunteers, Volunteer Work Committee of Chinese Museums Association, and relevant cultural venues of Shanghai and experts and scholars to change views. They are expected to discuss how to make use of unique resources of cultural venues to strengthen the building of volunteer service organizations and service projects, and how to carry out "Learning from Lei Feng" volunteer service so as to make cultural venues better reach out to and serve the society.
